Quite a good invitation. I was wondering whether the video looks a bit blurred at the beginning by intention or accident.
These are intentional TV-like distortions. - isokadded on the 2025-12-10 20:39:56

Some of the graphics looks nice and it has one (admittedly not particularly ambitious) idea and it does it pretty well; unfortunately it also looks like it bugged out on my machine because (what I see on Youtube to be) the hex floor parts were mostly black for some reason. :(

It also inexplicably dropped down to ~40fps during the main part with the broadcast camera. :(
Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I have no idea what might have happened there. For me it’s the classic Admin Response #1: "works on my machine" ;-) - tested on an M4 Max.
The map is based on this texture:

just with Poland recolored. So the only thing that comes to mind is that something went wrong when loading that texture on your setup. It should be reproducible, but probably only through trial and error.
Regarding the ~40 fps drop during the broadcast-camera scene: that camera object is basically a 3D scan I think, and the original mesh was ridiculously heavy (around 1.2M triangles). On some GPUs (especially AMD) it absolutely tanked performance. We decimated it and it started running fine on AMD too, but the mesh is still around 300k triangles, which is more than it realistically needs.
We didn’t test more thoroughly simply because nobody on the core team had AMD hardware available during development. If you’d like and have time, feel free to ping me - I can try to dig into it further, but fair warning: without access to the hardware it’s mostly blind debugging and testing multiple builds. - isokadded on the 2025-12-10 00:41:55
