• Hey Photon, was nice meeting you at GERP. Everyone is entitled to have his/her own opinion, and that's a good thing. I just wanted to note that except for the cube, the over 7000 lines of code were not recycled. Unlike you, I don't have a history of 30 years of demo coding with a treasure chamber of code lying around.
  
  For me, doing the logo pixelation with just two blitter passes in real-time was a first and also took me some thinking, which probably is trivial to you. Also, the fake zoom was new code I wanted to try out. Although I had coded some copper chunky screen effects in the early 90ties, I think it was the first time for me to actually use copper loops for that purpose. Same for the compact turtle pixel graphics macro language. And, the pixels actually have a memory depth of 48 bits, with 3x10 bits being used per pixel and copper driven blitter action to perform the saturation to 255 and the conversion/merging into the 12 bit copper list values. I also had to fight the jittery Pretracker replayer code, which on the copper chunky screen, could almost take up half a frame from time to time.
  
  You see, other than music or gfx, code is usually "invisible" to most of the sceners but a few, and I usually don't make a fuss about it. There is a lot of invisible stuff in this intro.
  
  But yes, we wanted to have a compo filler three weeks before the deadline. We had the music, the graphics and no concept and though, "let's make a demo about it".

• The floppy release comes with a nice and glossy disk label. Why would you want to miss that out? Also, a demo that comes with an integrated copy program, a program to duplicate it, cannot be called to have a "copy protection", can it?

• What a great production! Worth waiting for. Excellent (hires) graphics, pumping music, fabulous design, much better pacing than e.g. Hologon, and very clever combination of move-table effects with grading bitmaps -- and of course, excellent use of the Amiga hardware capabilities (sprites on the hires gfx, turning the audio filter on/off, copper tricks including dynamic hires etc.). The new voxel landscape is fantastic.

• Superb demo and puts many Amiga releases to shame ;) Love the pace, the presentation and design, the pumping music and the awesome code by spkr. Please keep up the profanity of bringing Atari demos to any party :-D
