• First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for your nice comments. This demo was a real joy to make, and in my opinion, this climate played a key role in the end result.
  
  I take this opportunity to inform you that we’ve created a ‘making-of’ page (https://overlanders-atari.com/index.php/first-love-making-of/) about FirST Love that you may find interesting or not. It details why we decided to go for 4 MB for example and other stuffs. We hope it can help others to produce great demos in the future. There’s only the coders point of view at the moment. Mic and Jess shall add their respective parts later on.
  
  Be assure that we’re very happy to reconnect with the demoscene, our old friends and happy to make new friends. Our plan is make other demos … when we have the time and when we feel it. No rush, just fun.

• demo Windows Arcade by Spectrals [web]
• Once again Spectrals demonstrates it has mastered the sense of rhythm, and how to tell a story. I watched it like I watch a movie except that I’m the hero in this one. I’m the one grabbing the coin and putting it in the arcade. Wonderful execution, amazing design, beautiful transitions, the attention to details is top notch …. everything is an enjoyment in this prod. A tribute to arcades and also to retro computers (Atari, Amiga, old PC). Was so fun to recognize the green desktop (GEM) as well as Dim’s/OVR Big Screen from the European Demos. Excellent.

• What an awesome demo. I really like the ambiance and the theme. Vectrex was very innovative for its time, I remember playing it each time I was going to a video game shop close to my place. VX2 brings me back to this time, reminds me the vibe with a really smooth flow and fresh style. The music is vibrant, emotional and synced with some of the effects. Great job everyone.

• Guys, how can you manage to make such a piece of art in 7 days only ? That is just crazy. Outstanding effects for an invitro of a very high quality. The code, visuals and effects are really great. And the music fits so well :D
  Very well done.

• demo Atari ST MOTUS by SMFX
• This prod kicks ass in every aspects. It’s a masterpiece, really. It’s so well designed (love the graphic’s style) with a lovely music in perfect sync with all the effects and fast rendering routines. The result is very homogenous and cohesive. More important, it transmits emotion to the crowd. Love all those texts spread here and there. They link the whole thing together.
  
  As a side note, I’ve discovered this demo in 2020 and was blown away. Was it before we started to work on our comeback demo or after, I can't remember. What I remember though, is not sharing with my teammates in crime or else I'm not sure we would have gone to the end of our prod. If I speak about Jess, when he discovered it (2021), he had already made a lot of work ;-).
  We then, organized a session with our respective families to showcase this prod, then ours to benchmark what we did.
