they're the guys who do what you try to do, but better. and your vain attempt at deliberately thumbing-up and bumping your own prod from bp06 into the limelight just now kindof exposes your unhapiness that you havent produced a demo since then (correct me if i'm wrong please).

i have mega respect for Doom, that guy is super-human, but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth when your immature actions harm the Iris image, but hey this is the pouet playground, and i AM over reacting, so lets all play some more kids :)

er... I didn't read all the thread, but... scamp, as far as I'm concerned you don't need to publish any sort of analysis about anything.

Is there anybody not trusting these nice guys a 2000% or wtf?

Rumor is some shit has hit the fan in some italian demoscene newsgroup.

if it's a fake account nutman, then i appologize in advance to the real one. i said i'd never get into arguing on pouet, but once you pop....!

Scamp: Well, my offer as any kind of _friendly_ organizer is still valid. ;-) Because hurrying up but being unfriendly doesnt work for some people. A smaller partyplace somewhere else would bring a time of relief and reorganisation which could safe Breakpoint until a new big location is found. As for me, i also didnt like the hall. It becomes worse every year since nobody seems to take care of it.... but thats just a suggestion. I like the location of the Tum party very much since it offers everyting to everyone....

Exin: You seriously like the TUM partyhall..? Wow. For me it's the #1 reason not to visit that party again...

havoc: its clean. I have a swimming bath just around the corner. Shops are not far away and Karlsruhe has more to offer, the parking lot is closer than that of the breakpoint, the toilets are a little less dirty (now) and i liked the team better....Its not just about the hall. But maybe i'm just biased.... ;-)

I strongly need to express not only my appreciation for all the hard and good work the entire orga-team did the months before and AT the party, I also need to give away some thanks to all the other ppl who made this BP a very special event to me, in fact the best demoscene experience I had so far.

In no particular order:

- Arcane, who sat left to me half-naked during the pc demo compo, getting up on stage asking Scamp "Willst Du mein Fickpüppchen sein?"

- Nosfe, also sitting left to me half-naked, for being one of the nicest sceners I ever met (as Truck promised as he would be), thank you for the good chat we had, and I promise, that I will take more care about what we talked, in future times.

- all the guys from Alcatraz, who I already knew, and got to know: s7ing, pOWL, T$, Gopher, nystep (we will drink that Bordeaux another time, if you bring it!) and of course Keito.

- Keitos friend from the UK, whos name I forgot right now, he looked a bit like Wolverine; he asked me to tell him "Which 3 words do come to a Germans´ mind if they think of England?" - and I replied "Fish and Chips".

- Raiden from Alpha Flight (and his friend), who not only revived my car which was sucked dry from the cooling box carrying the BBQ stuff, but also showed to us, that beer from Dortmund CAN taste better than expected.

- Serpent, whom I met the first time, who knows every single scener, and in which group they were. Or NOT were. Impressive. That you knew Einstein/MEXX in fact impressed me very very much.

- Fiver2, sorry for being so "near" to you that very moment, I only wanted to express my respect for your work and skills. ;)

- Truck of course, for being who you are, for that Gin-drink of which I forgot the name, and for that you in any case take the offer for free beer, or a chat.

- Romeo Knight, "Thank you for the Music", thanks for chatting about FX-devices; thanks also of course to Xerxes and especially to Bendik, your drumming was from another planet, Einstein and I set next to you on stage and we were SO uplifted by that concert (oh and sorry for jumping upon the stage, trying to animate the audience to clap even more, thanks to security who put me off the stage after 2 seconds already ;)

- Photon, nice and reliable as always, we had a very good time, thanks for the Mental Hangover shirt as well of course.

- Teis, finally we talked. A lot. You are a great and nice person.

- ne7. See "Teis" ;)

- XXX: plz tell me where you got that jumpsuit from. it rulez.

- anyone I forgot (f.ex. all the other guys doing BBQ with us: thanks. and sorry I can´t remember your names properly right now ;)

Cheers to all of you
Sir

exactly what chromag said. let's go of some of that feeling of having missed out on a great party this year at evoke. :)

Now imagine how closed you've been to have missed the LAST and best Breakpoint ever ;)

Sir: Thanks, glad you liked it. I'd also like to point out that there have been zero issues with "ghettosceners" this year.

Alright, this was just my 2nd party, but I really wish to thank those people who made this the best 4 days in my whole life (followed by BP2008, obviously).

- Knoeki and Babyneko - Who I spent a lot of time with. I hope I was not too intrusive :)
- Ruinah - You're awesome, I hope you'll return to Germany for the parties :)
- m0d & SilverLance - For having finally met the guy "I work for" after 3 years.
- Bacter - For being an awesome guy and having finally met you. When I composed "Timelord", I didn't even know that you were still active in the scene :)
- Xerxes - Same here, it was nice to meet you after having compoed so often against you, or rather, with you (I prefer to express it this way).
- Gargaj - For some nice compo experience :)
- Prince - Your GFX were awesome once again :)
- AceMan - For hosting an awesome compo and having some nice tracker-related talk :)
- People from IRC / Pouet / etc. I always wanted to meet: v3nomsoup, Deltafire, teis, thec, Alpha C, shroomi, dranix, jco, axel, serpent, mystra, netpoet, xernobyl, jix, kb, maxon, reed, Airport1
- The guys I "randomly" bumped into: Neoneye (thanks for all the tracker-related talk :)), urs, anderer, spenot, many of which I have already forgotten the name or I simply forgot that we met :(
oh, and of course Maali! :P
Fuckings to a certain bunch of UK sceners who screwed me with their no-show for a jointly arranged 8 seater to the Hahn airport on Monday morning.

Not only did I end up paying the mini-bus for myself, I also spend an extra 30 Euros trying to find you guys in Bingen when you gave me your vague location description and subsequently turned off your phone and took another taxi. That was all really nasty and your reaction to it when I met you again on Stansted airport was actually quite cocky. So screw you!

Other than that, thanks everybody for a great party!

now that I think of it, I also met Graga and xTr1m... :)
Scamp: that _might_ be just because Chromag was NOT there ;)

What IQ said, no need to document your budget, we trust you guys.

Dang'r'us: i hope the gfx orga team took no offense. In the end it's just an opinion, but my feeling is that it makes the most sense to show the final image first as well as last, since (imho) it gives ppl more insight into the progression / "what am i looking at"-ness.

thec: you "secured" the shirt my ass ;)

I was the one doing all the work with a bit of help from orbiter. You just accepted the shirt when I gave it to you :P
