In fact the version in the Dreeps New Intro sounds considerably worse, unnecessary horrible edits, and the only difference in the sample text is that it has MLP's name on it.

Good catch :) And the text in the demo tends to confirm that music is not from MLP ..

It was added later, not in the mod of the demo.

Just remembered that the amiga filename started "mod." searched "mod.tune2", found this:
