i kinda agree, national sovereignties are to be kept of course, because of all the specific uses and customs, but global problems like peace, trade, energy, resources, diseases are supranational ones for obvious reasons and therefore need world rules and police.
to be more accurate i want this new world order to begin with the end of all the tax heavens around the world : there's a previous momentum right now to do so, because many banks are now fragile and some are getting nationalized, so states have reached a new position to pressure big banks to stop trading with tax heavens if these don't expose their secret accounts to tax control ; and that's not utopian at all! the powerful IRS has successfully pressured a swiss bank (UBS) to terminate its famous bank secrecy in order to chase high-profile tax dodgers!
in that way the new world order would be way more fair towards social justice, state funds would not be based only on middle class taxes.
