Any North Amercans (Canadians) going to Evoke this year

Umm... the topic pretty much says it all!
I go to Italy each year to visit friends and family so lately I've been making it a habit to stop at a demo party before heading down the mother land. Mind you this habit isn't very old... my first ever demo party I attended was Buezli 15 and it was pretty fucking awesome!
This year I'm gonna hit Evoke cuz you Germans know where its at with the beer and da c0de and the whole cool architecture thing!

I would love to go, but its hard to fund a trip half way across the world (althought I could do it), plus I wouldnt even know what I could contribute to or if the people there would like me.
Ive been to lan parties, so im assuming Evoke would be similar, but with alot more drunk people.

I will be there, and Ruinah is going as well. Mind you we're both in Europe at the moment.
And, um, no Evoke is more like a f*n excellent concert where everyone there is your friend and it lasts for 3 days and sometimes it's not like a concert, but it's never like a lan party - unless you would say that 'eating in a cafeteria' would be similar to a lan party (both have people at tables sitting) - in that case yes it's like a Lan party. But the similarity is far more like... a party. With music and demos and fun and more fun and ... you should just go.
And I cannot imagine NOT finding someone you'd get along with there.

when is the date of Evoke? I am curious, but the site hasn't been updated yet.

As for accomodation... man there are some SERIOUSLY sweet looking hotels in Cologne! I have to say... German architecture is very stylish! I really like the hotel that is a renovated monestary! I don't mind communiting a little to get to the party. I also wanted to go check out that big ass cathedral Cologne is famous for.
