Already enough said here about the dead of MS, so just thank you to the organizers of the first serious and most successful german demoparty. Mekka (96) and MS was worth any minute which I spent there.

Looking forward to Breakpoint even when I don't know how to pay the trip actually. All german parties are now very far away from Berlin (except Dialogos when it returns).

I will be there!!! Count on me. I pay 20 Bucks for driving to Bingen. that's nothing compared to the 200 Bucks to drive to Fallingbostel. ~_~

for those of you that want to make the \o/ sign, you need to write 2 \'s

Aardbei - we help
pantaloon: hehe, yeah, sorry 'bout that.. but you were unbelievably drunk. :) saying "listen here you.. you.. fucking cop! i'll tell you something! do you.. do.. do you .. *hick* do you KNOW.. who.. who I am?!!" to the main security guy perhaps wasn't such a good idea. :)

allowing drinking inside the hall just isn't happening though. it never will. alcohol and 5000 people doesn't mix well, and the people we rent the hall from will never agree on letting people drink inside.
however; i saw no problems with the way assembly works on this point. drinking outside is okay by me :)
..and we're not trying to compete with mekka/ex-mekka/breakpoint in that way. we -know- we can never pull the same amount of central-european sceners, we're just doing our best to atleast make the scandinavian/northern europe-sceners have a good place to go.

Sayin that he was in FLT prevented the crew at Dreamhack from throwing him out the first time at DH00 didnt it? =)
and gloom, I think it will be even cheaper for me to travel over half of EU to go to a party in germany than goin to a comercial party in Norway =)

hehehe,

gloom , why dont you arrange the gathering 2003 for sceners in a different place, possible near the arena. There it could be ok to have a few beers inside the hall and only sceners allowed there, and if any scener want to play games or just watch the gameras they could just enter the arena...
It's fuckign annoying with 10-15 year old people playing games.

Hey, Breakpoint sounds very promising. And its 200km less for me, too. Hopefully the signs will be better than those i heard of UC... ;)
Yesyesyes. No Mekka, but Bundeswehr for the rescue, I like it - the location rocks! "Abrißgeläde-Charme". Looking forward to it!

I'm really sad when it comes to Mekka, I heard rumours about troubles between the orgas but I never took them that seriously. As I don't want to stay home at easter, I'll have a try with Breakpoint. With only one year break I was visiting MS since 1995/96 or so..

See you at Breakpoint, I hope you guys will also do compos for the Amiga, C64 and alternative computers beside the f*cking pc!

dubmood: cheaper? not really. not if we get the scener-tickets-thingie in place.

pantaloon: i'll do my best. :)

gloom, we can't compare parties by stuff that MIGHT happen, but isn't set, now can we? you can't say that breakpoint isn't cheaper, because according to dubmood it is, unless you make TG cheaper than it currently is. You have been talking about making TG a great scenerparty for quite some time now, and as long as most sceners find mekka, or assembly for that matter, being way more fun to go to than TG, TG won't be a great scener party. No matter how much you want it to, and it's not enough that you want it to if lots of other organizers couldn't care less.
