Why on earth would you put a theme on a democompo that'll hardly get any entries in any case...

the theme just makes me think of 3d condom twisters and that's not a good start for nice design.. :D

Themes are good to get people started on a quick project like that, for a bit of fast inspiration. It's not necessary to stick to the theme if you don't want to however.

Compo page is open, you can submit your entries when you're ready. (You are working on one, right?)

http://mac.scene.org - log in, click on that "compos" button at the top, and you should find it.

on that bonus thing..
if the entry is a 4k(+10bonus) not about rubber(-10bonus)
it will get +10 right? since an entry can only get one bonus (i.e. 4k entries don't get 10% plus an extra 5% for being under 64k, and a 4k dock icon demo will only get 10%). If an entry qualifies for 2 bonuses, it will be awarded the highest one.

There's always one hole in the rules... Still, its better than last time, when the size limit was 5gb ;)

Compo ends this Sunday night (hopefully, if you're entering, you noticed that by now :)

I'm away this weekend, not sure if I'll be back on sunday or not (depends on the weather in wales, and how much fun we have there). Stefan should be able to end the compo and open the voting form, so all should be well, and I'll be back on Monday some time at the latest to fix up anything that needs sorting out.
