ps: tough one! i would say it's simply "V8", or at least that's how we referred to this crew. afaik "the marvellous" is not actually part of the group name. it's definitely not "the empire", that was a cooperation between several independent demogroups.

so i'm not 100% sure- luckily we have keops, who should be able to confirm (or deny) my assumptions as equinox was another member of "the empire" :)

havoc: one more thing, dont ever call me spaniard again or i'll break both your three legs with a basketball bat.

I guess V8 is the right one altough The Empire would be ok as well (but less precise).

Equinox was in The Empire during a few weeks/months indeed then left because it served no purpose at all :)

the dodgy link i posted earlier actually points to a cu amiga coverdisk that's got the rsi demomaker 1.0 on it, among other things. since single productions shouldn't have download links pointing to packdisks (hello zone, you stupid cunt), i extracted the demomaker to another adf.

now, the thing is, the adf i hacked together isn't official - i'm quite sure someone's got the original disk(s) as images, but i guess this is the best we can do so far :) although, since it used to be a commercial app, should it even be on pouet?

its made by demosceners and mainly to do demos with, so yes.

i swear, if there is one more "is this demotool supposed to be in pouet demotools category" im gonna change the main page to include a splash screen saying "stop complaining about demotools and start adding missing party info"
added on the 2004-11-20 03:04:30 by psenough psenough
why not just remove the tool category and admit it was a complete failure?
added on the 2004-11-20 03:08:46 by Hatikvah Hatikvah
because its usefull to find extremly scene oriented tools

ps: I highly recommend this splash screen. It seems like I do most of that work, just because there are no glöps. But don't give glöps for adding party infos, that would result in stupid glöp hunts (I've seen enough "empty" groups and parties).
or maybe it would be nice to have a dropdown version of the page here

ignore this fucked up img-link, take it as "done". ;)
not sure about this, somebody might confirm but i think groupname smellon is wrong, its smellon design as parody from melon design ...

fixed. also fixed the rsi demomaker download link.

now for something completely different - party dupes :)
i already moved the productions under one of the two same parties, now it's up to someone to remove the dupes. in this list, the ones with "KEEP" next to them are the ones with productions. there are also quite a few parties (even dupes) with no productions added...

Ahh.... deleting of party dupes, here is my wish for deletion:
The Computer Crossroad <- The good, (KEEP)
Computer Crossroads <- the bad, (DEL)
The TCC Party <- and the ugly. (DEL)
ps, help, the data base fucks up with users names again.
Once again it cuts all letters before a non-7bit-ASCII character, if one appears in the name. :(
Exchange my avatar (tomaes.gif) with http://hyrule.32x.de/tomaes.gif
It's the same one, only about 1/7 in file size.

As the screenshot tells, the year was 1992, not 1991 as I set.
fixed it to april 1992 since the doc says "920422"
