Demoscene.TV World Domination Edition
DEMOTV ?
DEMOTV8!
DONT DO IT!!!! YOU WILL KILL THE DEMOSCENE AS WE KNOW IT!!!!
I don't have any suggestions right now, but just wanted to say that the project sounds awesome. I sure wouldn't mind getting such a channel on my TV!
I'll try to think of some names too, not that I'm likely to come up with anything spiffy.

tft-> why do you think that showing demoscene work would kill demoscene artists? the essence for us is to keep the spirit...
all-> some great ideas already! thx-

What about "Arty Show TV" ? :) Sounds quite descriptive, and sounds like something fun in French too. Hell, it even tells you about the logo.
Of course, the official logo would be an "artichaud" ("artichoke" in english, which as a matter of fact sounds a bit like "Arty Shock") with TVs in place of petals. A good old godamn TV-ball.

Okay okay I leave... ;)

Even if the broadcast is late in starting (which is fine by me), there's no obvious announcement on the DTV site saying where the stream link *will* be, so I actually have no idea whether it's online and I'm just missing it out of stupidity, or it's offline and I'll have no idea when it starts, because I'm looking in the wrong place. Seems fairly ambiguous, and I've only *just* figured out that the phrase "on the menu" refers to that figure of speech, that it'll be 'available', 'up for grabs', etc. rather than that it's actually in a website menu area and I've gone blind!
Maybe something to think about clarifying in the future?
Anyway, thanks for Demoscene.tv overall - I love it:)

Okay metapat, thanks:) Still maybe think about a little newsticker on the site for live situations, or a clear link to where live broadcasts *will* potentially be, when they're happening?
Of course it should be Demoscene TV 2.0 Beta!
Here, I even made a logo for you!

Metapat : Well, I'm a bit embarrased because it all started out like a friendly joke :), but with a little thinking you can figure it's a concept that works -in a certain sense... You can make strong catch-phrases with it (I guess you don't need examples, they are quite obvious).
ahah Teel :D
