I mean Notebook and his Touchpad. I'm using the red dot for mouse so i always touch the fuckpad unwillingly with my hands and strange things happen.
Cool cros, my missus loved her thinkpad just because of the red dot thingy - me, first thing I do with a laptop etc. is plug a mouse in!

... of course you can? either directly in the BIOS or through the Synaptics drivers.
...and in the Synaptics drivers you can also actually enable the touchpad just for scrolling but not mouse movement
