Eternal Now! by Byterapers [web] & Doomsday

A new production from the Byterapers + Doomsday collective called
Eternal Now!

Ok, this is something very different. This is *check this out* video
mapping + projection demo. This is outdoors visualization projected on
an old mansion, a real building. The building is shown in the video as
a multiplied background layer to visualize what the projection looks
like in the actual event.

The event was Mapsion Festival, an international festival of
videomapping held on October 14th, 2023 at the Vuojoki Mansion Finland
and surroundings. Mansion of Vuojoki is a renowned one of the most
beautiful empire-style mansions in Finland built at 1836. Participants
have their performance projected on the main facade of 30m long and 15m high.

In reality the projected demo looked exactly like in this video visualization.

About the artist:

Byterapers & Doomsday: Titans of the Finnish Demoscene
In the vibrant panorama of Finland's digital underground, two names resonate
with unparalleled legacy: Byterapers and Doomsday. Both groups, while
distinct in their visions, are epitomes of the demoscene's dynamism, having
emerged in the vibrant 1990s. As forerunners in an international community
that thrives on the synergy of programming, graphics, and sound, they craft
real-time audiovisual wonders that captivate and inspire.
Byterapers, known for their meticulous attention to detail and
groundbreaking demos, have etched their mark as pioneers, pushing the
boundaries of what's possible. On the other hand, Doomsday, with
its proclivity for audacious graphics and sound, showcases the bold
heart of the demoscene.
From the 1980s, as the demoscene community began its ascent, both groups
navigated the evolving landscape with dedication. Their offerings span
from compact demos to elaborate music sequences and compelling graphics,
all echoing the demoscene's foundational principles of free
distribution and collaborative creativity.
