Schwart Kloers by SPP

The mega-mighty (S)leeping (P)enner (P)roductions
"Schwart Kloers"
A 48k-intro

All code, graphics and music by Shvan-Loso/SPP

This intro was programmed in pure QuickBASIC 4.5.

Quick guide to running my intros (and other old software) under NT based versions of Windows
============================================================================================

1.
Install SoundFX
http://www.softsystem.co.uk/page4.htm
A patch against the stupid time limit is easy to locate.

Don't use VDMSound. Its SB digi emulation may be OK, the FM chip emulation certainly is not.

2.
Recommended SoundFX settings
FM synth: emulated 44 kHz
Sound buffer: 75 ms
FM music cache: 8 ms

3.
Run my intro in a DOS box with some EMS memory (1 MB is enough).

To activate EMS memory, right-click on the intro executable, click on "Properties" and,
under the "Memory" tab, select the desired amount in the EMS dropdown. Then start the intro from
the PIF that is created (the thing with the icon that reads "MS-DOS").

Note to users that run the intros under Windows 9x with a generic soundcard
===========================================================================

If the music sounds weird, it's your soundcard's fault, not mine.
