Somebody would actually read this? Ok, since you insist... This prod is kind of seriously flawed, but i dumped it in the compo anyway. It did not sync to the compo system so it was just filmed off a monitor. The platform is the XC3S50A FPGA chip from Xilinx (smallest Spartan-3A series) and a simple homebrew circuit to boot it and give it a hdmi connector. The videomode is 720p HD. The main trick in this demo (apart from getting a 6€ FPGA to do HD video) was supposed to be using live reconfiguration to change parts, but I didn't get it really working yet and there was some serious gliching. This whole trick is fully unsupported by Xilinx and it still needs some more studying before I can hope to get it run smoothly. Now only some simple ROM contents were changed by live reconf, anything else just crashed. Needless to mention that I didn't really give much effort at all to the content... Let's see some other time after this piece works properly
