JoBroMedia JBM001 - Textural timbrez Short information: ------------------ * This demo was composed for Dreamhack Winter 2012. * It ranked 2nd in the combined demo compo * What makes this demo stand out is that it is made by a person that has 10% sight on his right eye, and none on his left. * The development was hampered by several crashes, and once even a BSOD hit this demo pretty hard. * The music is released by Johan Brodd on Ubetoo. The track is called Speedrun, and can be found on the album "About to get heavy". Known issues: ============= 1. The demo freezes in the middle. This crash is not real, it's just a gag ment to cheer the users who use Windows, and know how crash prune that system is. Don't worry, the demo will continue after a few seconds. 2. This demo might not show up in the recommended resolution. To fix this just run the demo in your current resolution. 3. The help file that is installed is in a format that Windows 7 64bit systems cannot read, it's compiled in the legacy format that Windows 7 64bit doesn't come with. Start the help file, and download the legacy components through Microsoft's site. 4. There is a big chance that your firewall will report this program as spyware. It does this because this program is heavily packed. Add this demo to the exclusion list in your firewall. Before you run the demo ======================= Install the needed fonts. This will help making the demo much more pleasant to watch. Running the demo ================ 1. Double click on JBM001 - Textural timbrez.exe. 2. A dialog box shows up and give you several options to specify the resolutions, to run the game inside a window, wait for vertical sync and more options. 3. Use the recommended resolution. If that doesn't show up then use your desktop resolution in full screen. Should that fail then you can always watch the demo in a window. Quitting the demo ================= You can always quit a demo by pressing ESCAPE.
