pipe | nice fractals did run on my Arch Linux Beta/Testing system, but my GTX 1070 was not really beefy enough to render all the fractals as the compo machine had a RTX 3080 so sadly had to resort to watch it on Youtube
Fucking cool, best in the compo by a wide margin. I'm a total Epoqe fanboy at this point.

My absolute favorite prod from the entire party.
The only minor issue I have with this is the rather meh texture on the cubes in the 1st half. I feel something more akin to brushed aluminum or concrete would have worked better.
The 3rd place is also a travesty. Should have won.

Somehow this didn't really show its strengths for me during the live-stream but now after a rewatch it's pretty clear that the intro does very well indeed. Perfectly eerie in all the right ways!
So much character, atmosphere and story is conveyed here and the pitchbendy/detuned music fits so well, this should have won!

This is very unsettling which is of course great how it manages to evoke such a nasty feeling. In a bad trip type of way. A few nits: there is some edge next to the Alcatraz logo, and the periodic ~ sinewave texture in some of the structures breaks the immersion and highlights that this is CGI. Also, the kick is perhaps a bit too unz for the style? But disregarding small nits, one of the most immersive 4ks for a long period time, thank you for this!
