@optimus: I'm glad you liked it. No, that texture is just a little blurred to hide the limited color palette (and help crunching). By the way, there is also no perspective correction (only affine mapping) although there is a degree of subdivision in the triangles that contain the big eyes that helps a bit to give that impression. However, there are some improvements to the 3D engine that help with edge occlusion.

During viewing I was surprised how well those eye textures held in 3D without the typical non-perspective UV interpolation distortion artifacts, and was wondering if you did actually implement a division per N-pixels or just tessellated those triangles a lot.
