It wasn't explicitly stated in the compo rules but for me a bootblock intro has to be able to continue booting hence all of mine do. :)

I feel dirty now. :) To my defense I specifically asked the orgas if it was a requirement or not. Anyway, I kinda agree with you anyway, non-bootable bootblocks are kinda weird.

It's nice but non-bootable bootblock intro indeed sounds kinda retarded (so the rules are retarded). Thumb up anyway :)
