- demo Windows Amiga AGA Rise And Shine by Elude [web]
- So, this was meant to be an Amiga demo originally. Universe (as another word for being disorganized as hell) is a bitch and we had issue with sound replayer at the final hour. Because dev env allows to run everything as native Windows binary quickly hacked version was included in the combined newschool compo. Requirements are as standard Elude Amiga demos. 060 and 64 (32?) MB of RAM. Enjoy

Hi, i have final versino lying here but i still cant test it on proper configuration (people are lazy). If someone can help and have something in line of pentium2/3 @ around 333MHz please drop me an email at kiero@theelude.eu
@moonshine
Yes, windows version is a dirty build with quickly hacked 'fullscreen' output. This is also fixed in the final (there will be both dos and windows release). - isokadded on the 2016-10-12 23:13:08

- The plan was to make it run under DOS on something like 233MHz CPU with MMX. Because of all the late time coding it might have gone up but for now i can't really tell how much (stopped caring when compo machine specs were revealed and just focused on getting tings done).
Final version should be released soon. There was something wrong when runnng MMX-enabled build and it really does require MMX for decent performance (plus few code paths dont have non-MMX versions). Either some DJGPP issue or something else.
@tFt
Unfortunately my lack of x86 asm coding skills made it require MMX for decent performance and ASM machine didnt have it. - isokadded on the 2016-09-06 10:45:07

- thanks for all the comments. just few quick notes for now.
@clipping issues: yeah, will probably fix that in a bit-more-final version in few days.
@youtube version: some code really is meant to run slow so recording it on uae breaks first part significantly. also doing any color adjustments on shitty laptop screen can only backfire on you and the blacks are too crushed at some places.
@running on aca1200: no, sorry mate;) - isokadded on the 2014-04-22 22:19:22
- demo Android Beginning by Elude [web]
- @lack of filtering: it was done on purpose. we like pixels
@slowdowns: possible. was made on galaxy s and ran quite ok but due to lack of time we didn't even use compressed textures and it does hurt performance
@noise at the end: works for me(tm). can't really fix it now but will try to look for the reason it breaks
@pseudo frame dropping: was because of floating point precision issues in the shader. should be visibly better
@buttons staying visible: no idea yet and can't really look into it for next ffew days. worked for me but well...
@video: soon - isokadded on the 2012-09-26 17:42:30
- demo Amiga AGA Reboxer by Elude [web]
- about lowresness, this is actualy (or should if i didn't fuck it up) same 320x180 res as all our other demos. problem is that it is too much contrasty. have that toned down in finalish version (to be released soon)

- @everyone
thanks for nice comments:)
@dodge
thanks for checking it on 060/50. i don't know if i will have motivation to convert some more pieces from C to ASM but maybe;) i only had time to try some early effects about two weeks before a party. then all the work continued and we didn't really know how it will run until we saw it on compomachine 4hrs after deadline;) - isokadded on the 2012-04-12 09:21:38

- just a note for people watching it on UAE. except the JIT thing you have to disable (blame UAE author, not us;) please run it with -slow param at least one of the effects depend on being run on slow hardware (this for a change is my fault).

- @photon: hmm, there should be watchable version available already (final from the links above) which is said to work ok-ish on 060/60. certainly should be better than 1-3 fps you are getting;)
