- 1k MS-Dos Chrome Revenge by Abaddon [web]
- What does this actually need to run?
I've tried it on a 2.6 GHz Athlon XP system (SSE1). Used both the AMD and Intel executables (and the 'Capture' version), with a bunch of GPUs from AMD/ATI, Nvidia, SiS, and even 3Dfx.
In all cases I either get a black screen with music playing, or it just sticks at the DOS prompt and the music plays.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong? - isokadded on the 2020-10-19 01:17:33

- Utterly spectacular work as always, Hellmood!
Works great on my Fujitsu S300 thin client:
800MHz Transmeta Crusoe CPU
SiS 315 graphics chip
FreeDOS 1.2
Smooth scrolling & full speed with no glitches.
(You might want to rename the executables to 8.3 to make it easier to identify which is which under DOS.)
To be honest, the crossfade between scenes impresses me as much as the scenes themselves. Looks SO much better running native than on any kind of video stream. - rulezadded on the 2020-04-15 20:29:23

- Prediction: Hellmood is going to break some not-yet-known physical law about information compressibility, and the fabric of reality will start to unravel. Things are gonna get weird after that, so hold on to your underpants.

- demo MSX 2 Cat Rom by N.I
- Just to put this in context: it's 3AM, I've had a LONG day, I'm tired, sleep-deprived, stressed out, and I'm sitting here browsing aimlessly just before bed. This is what I landed on.
I have tears running down my face, and I had to seriously go into another room to take a breath. I'm pretty sure the neighbours heard my laughing fit and think I'm nuts. Thanks for that.
I'm not saying this is objectively that funny, but for ME PERSONALLY, this is the most hilarious thing I've seen all goddamn week. Genius. - rulezadded on the 2019-04-06 09:41:46

- What a nice tracker! Going to have some fun with this. I like how you've implemented the "order matrix", much less cramped & confusing than say, DefleMask's.
And thanks for the multiplatform support!
I've only tried it briefly but I do have one complaint - it's way too easy to defocus the PC keyboard from the "piano keys" functionality, leading to an irritating system beep instead of the note you're intending to play. This makes rapid jamming while e.g. changing instrument parameters clunky and awkward. If the keyboard controls would hold focus better (i.e. so that q2w3er5t6y7u etc. always plays notes unless there's a very good reason not to), it would streamline the user experience a lot. - rulezadded on the 2019-04-04 21:32:34

- 64k game MS-Dos Gridfighter 3D by Desire [web] & Porta2Note
- Exciting news! Gridfighter 3D is now open source:
https://github.com/porta2note/gridfighter3d
...okay, it's been technically open source for a while, but you had to find the specific thread on another forum where the source was linked on my dropbox. Now it's on Github. Feel free to laugh at my terrible code.
Also, I updated all platforms to version 1.3, incorporating a whole host of improvements & even adding support for a new VR device, so be sure to grab the latest release if you're still playing this silly thing.
Working on getting a new Pouet-compatible, Web 1.0 file host for this, since I lost my web space with no warning a few months ago, but the official site on Itch will always have the latest binaries even if I can't directly link them here. :) - isokadded on the 2019-01-19 13:13:33
