- demo MS-Dos/gus Oedema animae cogunt by Rustbloom
- My favourite. The sheer amount of pixel art must have taken ages.

- 4k Linux TECHNOMANCER by epoqe [web]
- The intro is extremely impressive, but considering the following:
- You're not using the standard file dropping approach.
- It's an ELF32 but the machine seems t is set to amd64.
- I'm not seeing any ELF header blocks asking for libGL.so or anything.
...I'm most interested in how exactly did you do this.
Also, the typeface was cool, but also makes me think it must have cost so many bytes... - You're not using the standard file dropping approach.

- 4k Windows There's a Place Where We Can Be by Coma
- My favourite from the compo, just because representing anything exact in 4k is so incredibly difficult.

- 4k Windows Hexer by LJ
- ...how did you do those trees with SDFs...?
(as if that was the single most impressive thing here but anyway) - rulezadded on the 2025-05-13 12:47:14
- diskmag ZX Spectrum Ǝ-МᏩΛꞨᏆИ
- There's little point on commenting on crap like this, but it's a good place to put one's honest opinions openly on the table.
Down with fascism. - sucksadded on the 2025-05-13 12:09:47
- demo Commodore 64 Nine by lft [web]
- I'm not well versed enough regarding C64 to fully appreciate the magic, but the presentation was enjoyable regardless.

- Impressive amount of content for a 1k.

- 4k Linux Windows FreeBSD Olkiluoto 3-2-1 by Faemiyah [web]
- @NinjaKoala: There's something off with Linux minification currently. I actually mentioned this shortly in the prizegiving. Latest Debian and Ubuntu no longer run minified 32-bit binaries - they crash on a call to dlopen (from SDL). Latest Ubuntu actually also crashes on 64-bit (Debian works).
This is one of the reasons we went with FreeBSD even if you lose some 70 bytes there due to __progname and environ. Ubuntu 22.04 still works fine.
Another reason is FreeBSD is going to drop ia32 in 15-RELEASE, so from next year on Linux better work or the era of ELF intros is over. - isokadded on the 2024-08-08 10:41:02
- 4k Windows Badass Branches by oo
- Waiting for the music precalc to finish at the jury took just about the same time (perhaps exaggerating) as playing the actual intro.
But hey, it sounds pretty good. - rulezadded on the 2024-08-06 22:18:56
- demo Windows Superselection by Byterapers [web] & Doomsday & Future Crew
- Just gonna leave a thumb here because it has Truck Attenborough.
Have to agree the presentation is weirdly uneven, but I essentially second everything sauli said. - rulezadded on the 2024-08-06 15:13:37
