- The screen shaking just looks like incompetent programming, not style. In NTSC mode, you can upload a screen in 4 frames without flicker or jumping, and in PAL mode you can do it in 2 frames. This just ends up looking like very sloppy PPU updating code that a noob would write, not some kind of "neat demoscene effect".
I can see that you can obviously make demos that don't suffer from these kind of problems, so it's just a very bad style choice here to try to look noobish. - sucksadded on the 2011-08-10 06:39:37
