- @Keops thanks for kind words!
The intro tune jumps a lot up and down in CPU usage tho - it's not a nice consistent 12% ;) So some extra work was needed for smooth framerate. Fairly blitter heavy in parts too, lots of span juggling to have interrupts arrive on time... Looking forward to spkr's symfx driver supporting DMA sounds!
And for trivia: I used that old trick you (!) once taught me running the effects off the vbl and the main rout as a background thread for preparing the next effect - so thanks for that - and screw busy waits :) - isokadded on the 2025-07-09 13:34:15

- *waves* So many things I would have liked to have improved in the intro part, but in the end, this one is about Frequent's music so let's just give it to the masses and relax. Run it on real hardware for the full experience. It prefers 2mb (1mb gets the playlist directly - space skips the intro too). At one point I had it running on a Falcon030 - if anyone's feeling adventurous please check that out. Sorry about the massive delay... Life.
Bottom line, Frequent and I both learned a lot of technique in our respective formats doing this - now on to the next one. Peace! - isokadded on the 2025-07-07 15:56:51
