- Some of the haters on here should be ashamed of themselves, and those just joining the bandwagon for popcorn even more so.
Using GenAI for the graphics and not labeling the demo as such was a mistake but not one that would warrant being brigaded by a frothing mob like this. Some of you should ask yourselves this: If mod3m, or sim, or soda7 were standing in front of you would you talk to them in the same way you're spewing vitriol in here?
And ask yourselves this: Did you really avert your eyes in disgust during the compo? Did you hold your ears? Or were you, maybe, just a bit, entertained? If so, congratulations, this is you giving back to the group for their effort and your entertainment.
Thumb down the prod for AI use all you like, that's all fair, but behave like you want human beings to behave towards each other. Save the vitriol for the nazis.
As for the prod, I was absolutely entertained, it's a breath of fresh air and the soundtrack is an absolute banger! Even the visuals, despite being heavily GenAI, are at least technically proper, consistent and fit the style - not something trivial to pull off with GenAI. So yeah, boo GenAI but hey, it's still entertaining and there's a lot of effort and love in the code and audio (kudos for coding on the actual hardware!). - rulezadded on the 2025-04-26 10:29:56

- I'm still happy that Sol did this Windows port, just enjoyed another trip down memory lane <3
Right from the zip it crashed on my Win11, but I replaced SDL.dll with the last v1 release version and it still works \o/ - rulezadded on the 2025-02-08 21:49:43

- Banger track, love the sync and tasteful strobo. Missing an epilepsy warning tho.
Really tho, I like the idea and calmness, and the human playing is a nice touch that matches the theme. - rulezadded on the 2024-10-14 18:56:33

- I would like to join the ranks of people who wish for more Ronny soundtracks in small intros :) And the visuals get a thumb for the math nerdery alone (never mind being pretty too)!

- demo Windows JavaScript International Garage + by mfx [web]
- Feels a bit like Bouncer v2.0 but hey, that alone was so full of content and ideas that I'm the last to complain about a sequel :) I really enjoyed the character animation; especially the slow marching guy really has weight to his movement that matches the soundtrack.
The particle effect didn't really do it for me; the emitter placement felt off at times and missed the "showered in particles" effect I was expecting, turning into more of a "backdrop of particles" effect.
That's nitpicking tho, overall I felt very entertained and the soundtrack bangs! - rulezadded on the 2024-10-14 18:49:44
