- Here we go... A downloadable version of our web player for SoS Vol. 6. In case you're only after the music, just grab the mp3s from the archive, otherwise it'll start a local web server when using the embedded .bat/.sh-files.
In case anyone out there have a desire to help us create a "real" native player for the various platforms (yes, it needs to be multi-platform imho), please reach out, because we simply don't have the manpower to do it ourselves as it is now.
Either way, enjoy this massive compilation with enough music in all sorts of styles and genres. I'm sure you all will at least find something you like in there! :) - isokadded on the 2021-08-30 14:22:25

- What browser/machine are you using? I know that especially the background animations are b0rking up in some browsers so you could try switching them off? Click 'b' or disable them in the settings dialogue. :) Also, tried different audio formats? :)
Quote:loving the tunes.. great work! :)
but.... i'm having some playback issues in the web player: scratchy playback sometimes (sounds like audio clipping or cpu overload??) and occasionally tracks don't play and sometimes i need to refresh the page to get it working again - isokadded on the 2018-05-22 11:22:42

- So, here it is, finally. :) We've been working hard to realize this volume of the compilation series and here you go with 98 tracks and a running time of 7h39m! :) The download will give you a player that is runnable locally (should be working on Mac/Win/Linux, but I have not tested it everywhere) and it includes the 320Kbps MP3 versions of all of the tracks.
You can download FLAC and other formats at https://scenesat.bandcamp.com/ :)
Once again, a HUGE thank you to all people involved making this possible! :D - isokadded on the 2018-05-20 14:37:03

- @rez: Oh, I really look forward bringing back my abilities of making music with Musicline/FredEd/Future Composer on the Amiga again, so just tell me when to start and we'll go! :D

- @sim: Well, I've listened a LOT to Dane's stuff, so I'm pretty sure I'm influenced by it. However, melodies and harmonies is basically what I've always done (just look back at my tracks from the mid-80s and onwards) and I completely love Dane's ways of using that, so I guess our minds just works in similar ways (although his execution is much more technically perfected :)) and therefor it can sound influenced.
Either way, I didn't have the time to polish the tune (I finished this version about 5pm on Saturday, a few hours after the deadline) fully to the extent I'd like to, so I'm sure there'll be a more final version done soon. :) I'm glad people seems to like it, at least. :)
Oh, and thanx to Made and Kenet for their beautiful gfx and rez for his positive attitude and attention to details (and for liking my little tune :)). - isokadded on the 2015-04-07 15:35:37

- ...and another little mistake snuck in... The CZ-tunes remix of Battleships by David Wassermann was really a remix of Battle Ships by Mark Cooksey, but that one slipped by us... The torrents will stay as is, but you can update it yourself, or just download the file at either scenesat.com or music.scenesat.com. :)

- @wysiwytf: Tbh, I'm completely overwhelmed by the response for this release. We were hoping on something like 30-35 tracks, tops. We're not complaining about it, though, but I surely see your point. :)

- *GRMBL* Apparently there has snuck in a WTF-8 problem in all track titles and artist names in the tags of the MP3 & FLAC files, so make sure to alter that before adding any of these tracks anywhere else...
