• A video capture of the port of the demo *Craft* (Linus Åkesson / lft, 2008; ATmega88 @ 20 MHz, 64-colour VGA, resistor-DAC sound and 1 K of (S)RAM) to the *Uzebox* console (ATmega644 @ 28.636 MHz, NTSC via AD725, 4 KB of RAM).

  This is not a remake: the Uzebox runs *Craft's original code* (main loop, music player, storyboard, effects). A custom video mode emulates the hardware Craft ran on: the raster interrupt with its copper list, the sound synthesizer clocked once per line, the text shifted out through SPI, and the CPU time left over for the main loop.
  
  This video was captured using the integrated F5 video capture feature of cuzebox-esp8266.

• I'm happy to report that this legendary demo has now been converted to run on my fave 8 bit open source games console, the Uzebox.

  The Uzebox has a few pouet friendly releases now (inc mod and sid players) so I'm going to ask the admins to add it as a new platform, 18 years after its introduction!
