- demo ZX Spectrum Actual sized cow by HOOY-PROGRAM [web]
- @rutra80, like many 128K demos, it requires you to switch into 48K BASIC, while keeping access to 128K memory available. This can be done by typing USR 0 into 128K basic editor, waiting for restart into 48K basic and then LOAD "" from there.

- demo ZX Spectrum GABBA by Stardust
- This is a demo that is easy to love or to hate, although most of the time I am not sure which one it is. However, this level of audio/visual synchronization is definitely unseen on the platform and the results are stunning.

- demotool MS-Dos Windows Commodore 64 Amstrad CPC ZX Spectrum MSX LZSA
- LZSA has been steadily improving over the summer and has now reached version 1.1.0. A number of new features have been added: the support for backward compression and decompression, the support for external dictionaries, as well a build-in calculation of the safe overlap distance.
The compression engine has been pretty much re-written from scratch; LZSA is now using a new forward parser for both its formats. As the result, the compression ratio of LZSA2 increased by 1.2% (the LZSA1 compression has already been very close to optimal, so it increased only very slightly). Improved parser also helps to reduce the number of tokens in the compressed data, which increases decompression speed. Specifically, together with decompressor improvements, we are talking about 5-6% faster decompression speed (as measured for Z80 decompressors).
So, if you are already using LZSA, make sure you've got the latest version. If you were unsure before, this is probably a good time to do another set of tests and, possibly, reconsider. - isokadded on the 2019-09-26 13:47:20
- demo ZX Spectrum Regression by Mborik
- Wow, the final has been released quetly! The new version is just as shiny, but half a minute longer and with a new effect at the end. Many thanks for releasing the sources and also for finishing the final fairly quickly. Looking forward to your future work!

- demo Windows PILEDRIVER by Ümlaüt Design [web]
- I actually kinda hate this kind of demos, so my thumb up is mainly for the combined impact of demo and .nfo. I sincerely hope that you'll get Meteriks for Best Direction, just to take your concept right to the next level.

- demo ZX Spectrum theend by Thesuper
- This prod looks shinier than pretty much anything g0blinish ever made. Yet he already left here 3 comments trying to convince someone, somewhere, that this is somehow worse than the inconsequential junk he keeps releasing year after year. Maybe we need to reformat this page into a dictionary entry for hashtag #ironic?
Guys, this chunky animator of yours looks great. Still, this may well be your weakest demo because of how empty it feels. Surely, you did not plan to theend with a whimper? - isokadded on the 2019-08-30 12:02:18
- demo PICO-8 New School Reunion by HOOY-PROGRAM [web] & Rift
- I like the feel of this demo, although the visuals are a mixed bag for me. Not really the first newschool on PICO, but we all could always do with a bit more, right?

- 1k ZX Spectrum TIC-TOC Intro
- @nagydani, I do not think anyone implied that you cheated.
It is a cool prod, even if it is not really practical for a demo compo. - isokadded on the 2019-08-12 21:20:35
