• iq: I'm _totally_ in error here. I falsely assumed that this DLL came with the graphics driver and thus was one of those in the DX sdk (i.e. non-standard stuff). I updated my DirectX and now the intro runs fine.
  
  I'm very sorry, and unfortunately there's no edit function for the thumb.
  I won't remove the CDC.

• 4k? This is a PC Demo. Plus: the release is broken.
  
  First solution to fix it: It requires 3rd party DLL's in the same directory which I don't got with the OS and drivers so it won't run. People don't usually ship their demos without DLL files required to run the demo. Total size: NOT 4k.
  
  Asking users to get 99% of the demo (size-wise) online is LAME.
  
  And also: Requiring me to become administrator to install some DLL is BAD CODE. I'm not doing that. Only lamers and windows users run their OS in administrator mode. A coder that assume their users are lamers is also a LAMER.
  
  As a PC Demo though (with the DLL in the same dir as the exe): HUGE HUGE thumbup.

  Remember, an intro was supposed to be attached to a cracked game or release, thus not requiring people to download extra DLL's just to be able to see the cracktro. I'd really like to see someone release a cracktro that pops up a dialog "directx_xxx.dll not found", it's simply not happening, ever!

• the thumb is only for the fact that you've done character animation that you presumably animated yourselves instead of grabbing stock animations from the interweb like you've done before. the character model is pretty low quality though and the rest was ok i guess, some math things are nice.
