• Las: it's just part of my normal 4K framework. I had some other scenes in mind, but went with spheres only, and didn't bother to take out the cone marching. I didn't even think about the possibility to calculate the intersections in one go, that would probably provide a decent speedup...
  
  The intro was made in a hurry, to support Rewired with a remote entry, as I unfortunately already had a family trip (without internet) planned on that date. So I had to submit it several days in advance. Add the Rewired invitro 4K we made three weeks ago, and the tentative next one for Some Big Party in another 3 weeks, and I really couldn't justify spending more time on it. Most time went in trying new (for me) stuff, such as postprocessing, and improving our primitive 4K tool. I noticed yesterday I forgot to take out the font-loading code from Schtrombloxke, so it could have been another 55 bytes smaller :)
  
  In the end, it did better than expected at the party, so I'm glad I made it, even though it's far from perfect.

• Download link now points to fixed versions. Of course, adding 1 character resulted in 8 extra bytes after compression, so it took a while to get at least the compo version down to 4K again.
  
  PS: Are you blind? Don't you see the checkerboards forming bigger checkerboards and so on?

• Aargh! I should really learn to test on both brands of cards after even the most trivial fixes. Try this one, now with an extra dot somewhere: temp nvidia fix
  Once I got all versions recompiled, I'll update the main link, but with the heavy crinkler compression this takes a few hours.

  Exins problem (and mine, on my laptop) is due to the Windows 7 busy cursor issue, please fix this in the final as you have like 50 bytes left and the fix is only about 20 bytes: just add "PeekMessage( &gMsg, 0, 0, 0, PM_REMOVE);" in your render loop.
