• I think it's quite pointless to argue against SDL here:
  1. SDL was allowed in the compo rules
  2. It would have been possible to do the same with GLX/OSS for example but then it would have been Linux only. Multiplatform is the way to go.
  3. Nag nag nag. Do you really think the whole prod was done with a single call to SDL_Make4kIntro()?
