- demo Acorn Reach by Progen
- An enjoyable and well-paced production reminiscent of emergent 3D demos in the mid-90s, and impressively performant on the target platform.

- I have to agree with Gargaj's take on this for the most part.
MrsBeanbag delivers a whimsical musical piece with a 70s TV theme tune aesthetic, however the arrangement is somewhat chaotic and jumps from pleasing to tension to suspense to urgent to resolved to tension again. The audio production feels very unfinished and while musically competant needs a bit love to bring it to the forefront.
The opening scenes are competant but I struggle to be entertained by very linear flyby sequences of poorly textured shipping containers and a low complexity model of what I assume is a spaceliner. It seems really disconnected from what the music was trying to portray. - isokadded on the 2020-06-27 21:39:30

- For a first production, this is pretty great. Really looking forward to see future productions from janiorca, and further leanings into the ambient aesthetic.

- demo PICO-8 potorty by Tea Lovers Committee
- A conflicted thumbs up because Mantratronic's grasp of Pico8 and production values are consistently good and the execution was also fairly good, but I've never appreciated novelty or joke demos and I can't say derivative works of patarty I'm enthusiastic about. Looking forward to more original content.

- Actually an emotional moment seeing this come to live as this setting has been a mainstay in my live since 2005. What a wonderful production, and I'm very very thankful for all the effort that was put into this. Was an absolute blast to frolic around in and gave us all the opportunity to convene in a virtual space if only for a weekend.

- demo Acorn Back by Popular Demand by bitshifters collective [web] & Torment [web]
- Honestly, I thought I'd more than had enough of the STNICCC derivatives - I wasn't around for the original but have since learned the significance of the animation and can appreciate the historical context.
I do find myself tiring of reused material (white noise, bad apple etc) but I think Bitshifters did a pretty great job of creating a transformative work, with a great soundtrack, design, execution and didn't outstay its welcome. - rulezadded on the 2020-06-27 21:04:47
- diskmag Commodore 64 Vandalism News #70 by Vandalism News Staff [web] & Onslaught [web] & Offence [web]
- I hadn't read a c64 diskmag before and this was amazing - packed with articles, editorials and fascinating stories. The front end was exceptional as well - a very high quality production! A real perspective on the culture, love it!
