- demo Android Feed Me Lies by Fairlight [web]
 - this one was pretty last minute, rushed and buggy so consider it a "party version" ok.. :)
ive uploaded a fix for the screenblanking and orientation issue:
http://fairlight.untergrund.net/flt_feedmelies.apk
it needs a gles2 - capable device, but if its not working on yours please let me know - id like to try get it as compatible as possible. (im open to all donations of hardware to test on ;) ) - isokadded on the 2014-03-26 18:19:07
 - demo Windows Nothing is safe by Cocoon [web]
 - nice solid good looking demo. nice shading and reflection.
has the quality running through it to easily place itself in the demoscene's top tier %, party placing aside. - rulezadded on the 2013-10-07 12:32:33
 - 4k MacOSX Intel A demo about making a demo
 - pretty terrible visually, but the soundtrack was vaguely amusing once. :)

 - demo Windows primitive beings by Dead Roman
 - some really nice postpro dressing up a very clean-looking implementation of some "standard demo" content is enough for a thumb up.
btw, 4th - is that placement now automatically filled in for all dead roman demos on partymeister or something? - rulezadded on the 2013-09-16 10:33:25
 - demo Windows Surge by Eventide

 - demo SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Overdrive by Titan [web]
 - i have absolutely no idea if it's technically impressive or what, but i really like the pacing and flow of it. a great piece of oldschool demo design.

 - demo invitation Windows 20:13 by LNX [web]
 - half a quite nice hand drawn animation, half a terrible "oldschool" demo.

 - demo Windows Calcifer by Still [web]
 - fucking awesome cinematography, great composition, great use of light / volumetrics / depth, and great soundtrack. im jealous!
i only have one minor negative comment: i wish it wasnt just broken into the triangles the mesh was built from because some of them look a bit ugly - too long and thin - and it feels a bit "easy". i wish either a) the triangles were subdivided where necessary to make them more equilateral or b) better, that it wasn't just triangles at all but various polygon shapes. - rulezadded on the 2013-08-19 10:39:03
 - demo Windows refleXion by Adapt [web]
 - i like some of the fx a lot (the zoomer) and its probably the best of the top 3 at asm2013.
however, even in the final,
- it looks so messy throughout, particularly in realtime.
with screen space reflections, if your depth compare func on the ray march is too sensitive or not sensitive enough then you get little noisy/liney artefacts everywhere. youve got them in abundance.
- in some places theres so much layered stuff going on and then a load of rendering bugs/artefacts on top. add in some badly chosen camera + light angles and it becomes very hard to grasp whats going on. composition needs work.
- its not exactly fast (on my radeon 7970)
- i dont like the way the particles are rendered - it was done a lot better long ago in http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=51114. looks very messy and rough here for some reason, and they dont do all that much of interest either.
