- It could be argued that the value of some works lies in precisely that:
Montage and dithering. No?
I find it presumptious if someone told me what I'm supposed to value, and what not. For me, some pieces have Photoshop and internet written all over them. It was just a guess that some of them may also have AI written all over them, but does it have to matter? You can still find compositions, dither work and other aspects awesome. - isokadded on the 2025-01-27 14:57:19

- @blakespot: Accelerators often introduce an asynchronicity between CPU and chip memory, which adds to chip access latency.
This can be worsened by the occurrance of many interrupts, which can cause additional strain on memory on a higher CPU.
If we are unlucky, not even the much faster execution time of the higher CPU can make up for the additional latencies and strain on chip memory.
It's a matter of focus on the target. There are side effects on higher CPUs which are difficult to anticipate, and usually you have only a limited number of machines for testing. - isokadded on the 2025-01-16 19:04:37

- As announced, trackmo guru'd on A500. But unfortunately it guru'd on A600 and on A3000, too. So I don't know where to run it. :-(

- Good for 1989 standards: Detuned piano, vocoder synths, naive melodies, orchestra hits abound. Technically ok. Does the job I guess :-)

- Heh, it's ok :-) I see the challenge in this, but I don't get the insistence on actual 4x4 chunks. With logical 4x4 you can fill the entire screen plus overscan, still have plenty of rastertime left, and it even looks better. :-)
Invented by Britelite (I guess) with some clever masking applied. I copied Britelite's scheme at first, but later found that the mask does not even improve the visual appearance, and can be terrible on some displays... - rulezadded on the 2024-12-25 15:07:54

- In order to poke some fun at emulators and their ridiculous claims of "cycle-exact" emulation, the version now pointed to by the download link should run color-inverted on emulators.

- demo Amiga AGA DaLame2 by Stonehead
- An attempt at making AGA great again, sehr appreciated! But I really wish it would perform with my shabby TF1260 as nicely as in the video capture...

- Thanks! I've seen the message several times with shabby disks and/or drives, works with medium disk on medium drive. Timing still appears a bit "optimistic". :-)
