- I saw this in the making and that made me meet rez in person. Cool. Also like the "Terminator"ish music.

120 stars at 50 FPS to save a Revision compo - like every year :-)
The name is of course a (too) obvious reference to Bang! by SvOlli. - isokadded on the 2014-04-23 10:46:10

- I don't actually have a problem with your comments as I know you/them for many years. I even know that you want to show that POKEY can do better, which is fine. My point is that "the music is using triple VBI Speed and just sounds like this?" is simply negative and not offering assistance. Especially considering the idea for the release was born soley because the guy had created his first tune and we then thought about a way of releasing it.

- 16k Atari XL/XE RebbStars by Paradise [web] & JAC! [web]
- Final version uploaded to site now. Uses 150 Hz music replay that eats up 30% of the CPU to not sound like POKEY. Plus a software driven soft scroll to achieve hires scroller over animated overscan hires background that eats up the remaining CPU cycles. And yes, it thought it would be simple...believe me it's not with 1.79MHz :-)
@emkay: I personally don't care about how many channels a sound uses but how it sounds. All your tunes sound like Atari/POKEY but this one doesn't and that's what counts for me. Besides that it's the first POKEY tune the guy ever created, so I wish you'd try to motivate people who join the Atari gang instead of p..... them off from the start. - isokadded on the 2014-04-22 08:46:44
- demo Atari XL/XE Arsantica by Desire [web]
- I simply love the graphics, all of them and the ideas. "If it's not 4 colors, it's not oldschool". I don't think any Atari 8-bit demo had so many pixel graphics included. Looking forward to the final! And no, this is no self-vote as Heaven only used a font I did in 1989. And hopefull it will no longer be needed in the final :-)

- 32k demo Atari VCS Bang! by XAYAX
- Exactly what Kylearan said. Regarding extra RAM: This was designed to be released at Revision, where the rules allow every physical medium that fits for the maschine. So extra RAM is fair for me in this case, because typically even Amiga demos compete in the same compo here at Revision. So this is the "best VCS demo with extra RAM", a new VCS category "F8SC" and an outstanding one man dedication & effort for the machine.
For SillyVenture it's a different story and there extra RAM is explicitly not allowed since it's a VCS only compo. So see you there in the VCS Fight Club! - rulezadded on the 2014-04-20 21:45:16
- demo Windows Eternal Dream of Beauty by Still [web]
- AB-GE-FAHRN. It's been some time that a demo really made me laugh from the heart. Now this one did, just like a good Monty Python scene.

- intrisic/p01: Advanced Raytracing is my personal favourite. Not because of the actual picture, but because of the "technique". It is "advanced" in its own special way.
