• Gargaj: I've done 1ks with sound. Yes. One of those in the list is mine. So are Morpheus and Annoying blue circle. But the change in style to crinkler means no 1ks so far using crinkler have sound (its possible, but the compromise in graphics would be very large).

• waffle: Though, yes, it would be good to see some rivalry there as it would push things further I agree, personally I'd rather spend time on getting better at products.

• Gargaj: Tracie, which uses raycasting and, I guess, secant root solving. This is a recursive raytracer. The two are very different techniques. So unless you mean the smell of chocolate, you are way off base. As for sound, I know, but TBC have their own amazing 1k compressor which is way better than crinkler so unless you are suggesting I stop writing 1ks (are you?) I'll have to live without sound.
