- Now that's what I call a demo! Easy 10/10

- All-around stellar ride! That overlapping triangle cluster effect was my favorite.

- demo MS-Dos Elektroniks by Doomsday
- Is the music ripping off the bass beat from Psychaos - Keyboard Widow? You'll be the judge. Cool stuff regardless, especially the transparency effects!

- Just amazing, even today. It's very similar to what Monolith did with their early FMV for their games and personal company promotion stuff.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS prurient by Rebels
- Such a cool design. It's like the whole demo takes place inside some berry jam jar.

- demo Windows Your Fingers So Gently On My Skin by Plastic [web]
- I think there are some stunning scenes that hold up nicely like the diver and the whale. The 2D stuff was very nice as well. The use of Akira OST left me with very mixed feelings however. There could be huge potential in this with original magical ambient soundtrack and better direction that would make more sense. Or maybe I just did not get it, but the direction felt very random at times whereas sometimes it felt very nice. In other words, it was all over the place.
Not many demo creators have the energy and time left to spare on thinking much about the overall direction and "artistic emotions" of a demo on top of all the hard work and technical challenges. Therefore I must thumb up strongly for this ambitious project despite its shortcomings. - rulezadded on the 2021-11-29 07:53:49

- Wow. This did not resonate with me much. It was close but yet so far.
Here's the thing. The effects and visuals are mind-blowing on their own but the problem is that there is no build-up and anticipation for them. It felt like everything was thrown at my face with the speed of light so I did not even get a chance to process what should I feel about each effect or how the music is supposed to be connected to the effects. Almost every scene was filled with constant flashing and overlapping effects which made it very hard for me to watch personally. The drama curve for this demo started at the climax and stayed there until the end.
I'd like to imagine how this demo would have turned out if the background was removed completely, tempo of the music was turned down and the kick and bassline were removed completely or turned into something more old-schoolish and goa like. Less flashing and no recycling of the previous effects. How about that!
But yeah, in the end demo looks like it was super fun to develop with all this crazy stuff going on. I think for most demo creators having fun with the process of creating something is the best part, not if the end results are aligned with other people's tastes or expectations. At least that's what I try to convince for myself when I do something related to demos on my free time.
So keep it up, and keep asking yourself why are you pushing these triangles on to the screen and what's the meaning behind them. - isokadded on the 2021-10-21 23:21:00

- TEK is on a serious crusade with these recent releases. The music and style hits so much home with me. Blessings!
