  But what I didn't get at first, due to the endcrawler being a little fast, is that this entire thing spawned from a university project. And it ended up winning a prime competition AND brought not one but TWO coders into your ranks.

  You have been put on notice by the "Stealth-Ranger" himself.
  I can't recall that ever happening since Charlie is managing the Amiga compos.
  The man gives you any benefit of the doubt in order to get your thing on the screen. Having him type out an admonishment like that should make you think.
  
  Perhaps it's time to care less about your perception of accuracy and work to getting your stuff run on a High-End 1200 w/ overclocked 060 FFS!

  Had the same feeling about this. Curt Cool rocking the Doskpop was a delight. Top-tier graphics, too. But the thing it missed in my book was the "twine" of art direction binding the whole thing together with a bow-tie on top.

• In other years (excluding the 2019 mayhem) this would've been up somewhere on the pedestal. Reading the "should've ranked higher" comments let me take a peek at the results, and they are quite literally only nudges of points apart starting from 6th place. So, tight race but such is life.
  Top notch production in the heap of the Virgill-festival this Easter :D
