- demo Windows clockwerck by Northern Dragons [web] & xplsv [web]
- Just in case anyone's interested:
char *scrolltext="The year was 2007, the panamerican scene was dominated by two mighty giants: the NORTHERN DRAGONS and XPLSV. Only ONE could SURVIVE the EPIC BATTLE that was to be the TENTH TEXT MODE DEMO COMPETITION. Knowing that the STINKY EUROWEENIES would TAKE OVER PANAMERICA if one of them fell, the KINGS OF THE PANAMERICAN demoscene FORGED A MIGHTY ALLIANCE to DEFEND LIBERTY, FREEEDOM, POLITE HELPFULNESS, THE STRONG CANADIAN DOLLAR and the combined buying power of a hojillion fat angry Quebecers. GREETINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!! We are your new oppressors. There is no cake. It's a lie. We're still alive. THE SCENE IS STILL ALIVE - STILL ALIVE this demo is for the demosceners who are STILL ALIVE AND YOU'D BETTER BELIEVE IT'S NEVER GOING TO DIE. This demo is a triumph! We can never have too many copies of the Dark Domain DVD OR the BBS documentary. Funny story, actually. (this is Guybrush[ND] on the keys) I bought my first Dark Domain DVD at Pilgrimage 2004 - the one where we'd made the invite, and then Legalize called us a bunch of Canadian pussies. WHAT AN ASSHOLE! Anyway, I bought the DDDVD and got Trixter to sign it. I was such a dork. I was able to track down Ansichrist or lord something-or-other who actually did some of the art in the thing to sign it as well. Anyway, the Northern Dragons won several copies of the Dark Domain DVD that year, another one or two at Pilgrimage 2005, and some more at Block Party in 2007. We also won a copy (which I have - Guybrush) of the BBS documentary by Jason Scott with our winnerdemo at BlockParty. So it'll be fun to win another copy of each. And some of the games look good as well. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm doing all this for the chicks. And the money. $$$$$$ Anyway hello to log00ber, who hates everything about the current state of textmode demos. Hopefully you like this! We had a lot of fun making it. That's the real reason to do this stuff. Because it's fun. It's just so fucking simple to add an effect or whatever to a software demo. I'm doing to do textmode crap from now on. It's just so easy!! - from your Canadian friend, Guybrush. ";

- demopack Windows Psychedelia by Northern Dragons [web]
- stijn: Yep! UnConeD's thing was the starting point for that one. Good eye. ^_^ Next time, I'll figure out how to make metal materials respond meaningfully to frequency intensity and I'll rip it off in a more pure fashion.
