- demo Windows STS-04: Instant Zen by Synesthetics
- Solid demo. Music is good, nice DOF effect in some parts, and then ofcourse the cloud parts which is what I think pushed it to such a high place in the compo.

- demo Windows don't stop by Portal Process
- The best demo from this years Assembly, the only one that made me go "wow, now this is cool!".
Nice models/animations, and in some of the parts in the middle the rendering gets a certain quality that makes it look very "movie-like", I don't know if it is just because it is blurred just the proper amount or what, but it looks great.
The only small minus I can see is that the scratching robots movements doesn't seem to synch with the music. - rulezadded on the 2005-08-03 01:23:38
- demo Windows The Line Age by Trauma
- The intro sequence with logos splitting up into lines was great, reminds me of the old FLD/FPP effects on the C64, expcept in 3 dimensions. Simple to do but nice looking. The rest of the demo doesn't quite deliver though I do like the effect-description-texts, also gives me that oldschool C64 vibe where every effect had to have a name!

- 64k Linux Windows Amiga PPC/RTG MacOSX PPC MacOSX Intel Fiat Homo by Traction [web]
- Wow, a trip from simple atoms, via DNA, single cells, etc. to skyscrapers and then onto the stars. I even think I spotted a "2001"-monolith aswell :)
Very clean and crisp-looking. - rulezadded on the 2005-08-03 01:06:54
- 64k Windows Che Guevara by Fairlight [web]
- A very nice display of "cram a fullsized demo into 64k". Models, textures and music, none of it would have been out of place in a normal democomp.

- 64k invitation Windows Come to DemoZone (Man meets machine) by Neural [web] & Park Studios [web]
- Fresh yet oldschool at the same time somehow.

- demo Commodore 64 Elysion by Origo Dreamline
- Saw it live in Alingsås '92, and at that time we sure didn't think the effects were mediocre!

- demo Java Mobile Phone ProjectLCD by Noice [web]
- Scali: I draw to the display using the Graphic class functions (drawLine, fillRect etc.). In midp1.0 there is no good way to access individual pixels framebuffer style though.
There is some more discussion about it in the thread Optimus linked. - isokadded on the 2005-06-20 13:09:55

- Great stuff! Looking through the source might be a good way to fresh up on my C64 coding skillz...
