• vscd: duh, my point wasn't that he does have to beat fr/mfx in his first release, but rather not to release his test/crap applications.
  With a little tweaking, proper textures and slight modification of the gameplay this might have been enjoyable actually. It just feels very unfinished and even tho the gfx engine seems to do it's job, this simply sucks.
  Otherwise I can only second kb, I mean, what would you do if I started to upload random dos programs displaying sine waves using BGI (which is the biggest "effort" I've done graphically codewise so far) giving me thumbs up for trying but releasing crap never the less?

• Crap. Trillionth time we see a java raytracer (which is rather wolf3d than doom) featuring no gameplay whatsoever.
