  Of course, forget mainstream attention, being the best in the competition and producing something beautiful to look at. Everyone should be making minimalist art demos with discordant palettes and white noise soundtracks to impress a handful of pretentious pricks instead.
  
  Personally, I think it's incredible what these guys have achieved and really don't deserve that kind of abuse and discouragement.

• I retract my comment about the picture. It's a photomanipulation, and not actually hand painted.
  
  That doesn't make it bad, but just not as impressive as I first thought.

• The visuals are PERFECT. I loved that desaturated vintage look...just beautiful. Not only that, but everything is so well directed and imaginative.

• My personal favourite demo from Assembly that really shows the importance of good graphics work.
  
  The visuals look professional and polished, there is atmosphere and character, and it looks like it has taken a lot of time and effort.
  
  It may not be the most techical or "arty", but it looks like it belongs in a higher league than the other entries this year.

• Although it's not bad by any means, it just felt like a rehash of other demos I've seen and was really lacking in character.

• Oh dear god! The 64k intro has been revived and taken to a new level!
  
  The music kicks ass and having lyrics in there made it even more phenomenal, there's a lot of 3d models for 64k and the textures are so varied and detailed I'm wondering if I could do any better with several hours in Photoshop.
  
  This right here is what the demoscene is all about!!
