- oh, I interpreted the credits scene right then ;) though they look rather disconected when taken separately the transition (zooming out of the big black blob) makes it work well for me

- It's long and mostly single-effect, but hey, that's to be expected when something's released under this banner and not necessarily a bad thing (though I personally often dislike such demos). But this one does it nicely, it has a really relaxing mood and doesn't use abstractness/minimalism as an excuse for low-tech graphics, which is something that often annoys me in such productions. All in all a nice demo.

- the 2D (plasma/fire effect/smoke/etc) was really really nice, the 3D parts looked a lot less pretty though.

- love
reminded me a bit of underworld/tomate videos, I think this might've worked even better with semirandom text instead of greetings, credits and scenepoetry.
but still, love - rulezadded on the 2009-04-20 12:24:38
- demo Windows UNGOL by Nuance [web]
- I'd have expected mythical creatures, orchestral music, stuff like that after the quote from tolkien's silmarillion (right?) in the intro, but instead of that we got some rocks tumbling over a field, eventually assembling into a misshapen hand, and some black lines+circles.
It looks nice, and it's all in all a decent demo, but it all was a bit aimless and without progression. And Tolkien quotes in a production with breakbeatish music and happy colours just don't fit somehow. - isokadded on the 2009-04-20 12:17:13

- Okay, watched it again, and it's still pretty awesome but I really think the credits/actual content ratio is way too much in favour of the credits ;)
