- demo ZX Spectrum across the edge by deMarche
- Deserved one or more thumbs up for this great gigascreen pentagon demo - pretty good design, sync and flow, nice gfx and cool nq's music. Rage kickasser with such mindblowing border-paper rules broken!
Just one note: You better watch your grandiloquent statements in YT video description that states of usage standard speccy features but it's time to pentagon only that you haven't time to fix for speccy...?
so, definitelly not, because this demo is for slightly different computer which allows all what we can't do on our old good speccy 128k - you haven't slower access to some places of RAM and all those contention issues, you can change border color anytime off the 8ths, and put your interrupt vector anywhere. ;)) - rulezadded on the 2016-09-14 00:43:22

- demo ZX Spectrum Break Space by Thesuper
- I kept a few weeks more time to think about it: This is the best thesuper demo until the E & Recycler golden era, sadly not so stunning but still well designed with beautiful gfx and great sync. There are some mindblowing parts like the wicker shape, parallax stripes, girl in the wind, rotating arcs, reflections in the sunglasses and metro part - right next to the boring parts with color rectangles and that weird 3D statue... :) Also, nq's soundtrack in noizcore/minimal style isn't my cup of coffee but it was pretty good synced up to the video.
So, overall it's an another great speccy prod. Like!
(it's pity that available only in trd distribution - please give us a tape :) - rulezadded on the 2016-09-13 18:49:06
- musicdisk ZX Spectrum GemBand by Gemba Boys
- VBI: Nothing much was happened, we just need to push 256k of compiled songs into 80k of memory. So all various formats was converted into one - for single unique player, after that I made some semi-automatic optimizations of song data and found the way how to automate most-greed-ish commands of song data by player itself. That was an only way how we can push Factor6's latest 18k long PT3 song into 4k of packed data. :D
Finally, player was also improved with global volume option which leads to implementation of fadeout command and this was only a small step to automatic fadeout after few seconds of repeating the song...
Well, it isn't any kind of rocket science, whenever you can debug it, how stupid it is. :)) - isokadded on the 2016-06-19 21:31:29
- demo ZX Spectrum Kpacku Deluxe by Kpacku
- If I could play this demo on my 128/+2 I will probably shit myself up to my ears and never ever do anything more to speccy. ;) ... but hey, in fact it is Pentagon demo, a little sad that in same category as all 128/+2 demos where demomakers are struggling with memory contention, fast/slow RAM blocks and tightening multicolor timing options...
Anyway! This is one of best Pentagon demos for me: great design, superb anti-attr-clash effects (that isometric parts are my favorite) and pretty soundtrack from three great musicians... and all of this aspects well directed and paced. I'm satisfied... oh and thanks for greeting for Gemba, we appreciate it so much! ;) - rulezadded on the 2015-09-04 14:31:38
- demo ZX Spectrum New View 48K by Conscience
- I completely agree with introspec! Most demoish demo coded by Alone Coder. I like those realtime effects, beautiful gfx by Trixs, and altrough some boring parts, overall feeling is very good. It was a fair fight in one category with us. I looking forward for next year, guys. ;)

- Alone you're so vain and selfish... nothing personal? Your post is so personal as it gets. Why you can't accept the fact that humor has won over your technique on 100 votes? And what's wrong with Elvis stuff? The supporting theme of this year's Forever was "Elvis Lives", and we tried to keep this topic. If you can't understand it, I'm sorry...
