- demo Atari STe 20 Years Atari STE Megademo by Paradox [web]
- very cool demo!
* Intro + Menu: cool, esp the spectrum + multi coloured sprites screen
* Saluts Atari STe (Atari Legend & MJJ Prod): just a simple screen.
* Tribute to Blitter and DMA (Paradize): hhmm, keep learning..
* Extravagance (No Extra): very nicely designed. but ste has a blitter. bigger vectors, please!! rotozoomer is also not up to today's standards
* Visual Unity (Paradize): cool, and stylish.. but again.. why the small vectors? and use dither patterns for raster backgrounds instead of interlacing.. cool use of wireframe allround, though. props!
* Mr. Fourtyseven (BiTS): *pukes* one of solo's worst imho
* Zero to Twenty: Sixty Seconds (KüA): cool, esp the ASCII spiral scroller. short and to the point. style!
* Tuttugandi (DHS): a treat from the masters of overscan. great stuff!
* Cubes Ribbons and 3D Flybys (Paradox): too slow and i hate the pillars, but some very nice ideas here (the greetings)
* Roxotro (RGCD): stylish (great gfx!), but i kinda missed the point here? it's a shooter inside the demo? anyway, the effects are -ooolllddd-
* Zickdisk 2.5 (Paradize & Elite): nice musics, minimal effects (4096 colours are where??)
* $14 (Excellence in Art): great music, nice use of vectors, but minimal as fuck.
* Direct Color Zoomer (Paradox): obviously very hi-tech
Hidden screens: cool for 1991.. but these days.. hmm.
* Reset screen (Paradox): cool gfx
overall: amazing amount of screens in this demo. a joy to watch! :D

- demo Atari STe Save The Earth by Defence Force [web]
- really nice retro vibes. well presented screens. like the overscan. i don't like the 2MBness, of course ;) and perhaps the fx are a little on the oldschool side.. but overall, leaves you with a warm feeling to help you get through these dark days.

- demo Atari ST Japtro by Holocaust [web]
- after realising it originally worked on 3 ST's on the entire planet. and how much the 3D is precalced i kinda feel like reconsidering my judgement. but seeing that most optimisation on this platform leads to precalc i think it ain't bad. the incompatibility is bad, though. i guess they had to rush it before people forgot what flatshaded polygons were like. falcon dsp texturemapping started dominating a few months later.
now the reason for me writing this: somebody make a video of this, pleasseee... ;) - isokadded on the 2009-11-06 11:11:52
- demo Atari ST Illusion by Dune
- yeah, especially when this was actually released 9 years after that party.. ;)
btw, i can't believe i didn't thumb up this one yet?
it's a quality demo but it was finished too late.. it didn't come anywhere near raping my brain at that time (2003). i prefer the intro of the game EPIC to this (largely because of Gustav Holt's "Mars" movement, and the apocalyptic atmosphere). however, the graphics are certainly better in Illusion. bravo to Mic and Chuck.

- wild Amiga AGA Extradisiae by BNS [web]
- ehmm.. well, good animation for the day. nice that they use somekind of ham8 player. as a wild, it kinda rocks. but i still think this category is far far inferior to a real demo. overall, piggy.
