- Unfortunately, there are hardly available cycles.
It might be possible to change very few byte here and there (eg: screen borders), but scrolling single text-lines requires reading and writing 640 bytes in total. Considering that a simple read-access with "LDA ,X+" costs 6 cycles, imply that we need more than 3ms to just move the data on the screen. As the CPU does all by itself, this mean that samples are stopped from being produced when screen-scrolling occurs, resulting in a noticeable click. That's not good.
If only the thomson has HW support for scrolling, it would be easier. But ATM I don't see how to do something fancier than displaying still pictures while playing music on the TO7/70. But stay tuned... Maybe the future will reveal a new trick I haven't found yet ;) - isokadded on the 2019-04-02 14:54:41

- Thomson's TO7/70 are way less powerful as other 8bits: no sprites, no palette, no sound-chip. Almost nothing fancy indeed. Up to now only mute slideshows were available or beeper-music only were available. This one combines the two. You get nice pictures combined with nice tunes. It also works on the TO9 which only supports single-sided disks. This time no TO7/70 compatible machine is left behind. It runs everywhere, possibly even on old french-school computers. It would have been very interresting to have such a disk at schools 30years ago. Anyone got a TARDIS? I need to experiment something...

- Yes somehow. Actually it is an upograde of the player presented back in 2017 (TO8 deMODed). It now runs 45% faster even on lower-end machines (TO7/70) and can reprlay amiga Mods more accurately.
Did someone found the way to get to the hidden-part ? - isokadded on the 2019-03-18 13:13:55
