• Always love a bit of pathtracing. A little light on content but stylishly presented and with a tasty tune to boot!

• Very clear sense of direction - good pacing, careful framing of shots, etc.
  Music isn't personally to my taste, but I think it complements the visuals well.
  Others have already pointed out the jarring DoF, which is my only major hangup with this intro.
  Still, very good for a firstie, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next :)

• psonice: Definitely could be smaller. Reading through the code again without the "get it finished quickly" mindset, I'm seeing a lot of obvious improvements.

  break: I absolutely agree. The torus was very much "I spent ages on this effect so I _have_ to include it" and in hindsight it should have been saved for another prod. Live and learn I guess :)

  HellMood: it's a 4k that quickly became an 8k and then got out of hand. I think it could have stayed under 8k if I'd spent more time optimizing.
