- Holy fucking shit, what a style! And a tune!
Wow!
Saved to harddisk, and will be played at high volumes whenever possible. - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 05:34:17
- demo Windows Sandbox Punks by Cocoon [web]
- What could go wrong with a damn fine willbe tune, and splendid french visuals?!
Nothing!
Also the robot speaks in scratches like the king in katamari? Hell yes! - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 05:27:52
- 4k Windows Atrium by TBC & Loonies [web]
- I remember seeing this without knowing that it's a 4k and I was blown away by the tune, the attitude and style - now knowing about its size just makes it even more awesome.
Holy cow! <3 - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 05:20:11
- demo Windows Track One by Fairlight [web]
- Inspirational, watched it so often - and after years it helped me to come up with an idea for an invitation that was loosely based on one of the first scenes in this one.
The tune and style is just to damn awesome, and never get's old - I really still enjoy this after all these years.
A big aha moment was when I watched mindcandy with comments on, and learned that this prod was done in three days from leftovers - they didn't really explain why the butterflies fly backward though :) - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 05:12:55
- demo MS-Dos Hyperventilation by Byterapers [web]
- Despite having the feeling that the pixels grow bigger every time I watch it - it'll never get old. I can't coun't how often I played this on high volume on demoparties on amps I could get my hands on, just to entertain people - it's one of the prods that makes everyone smile.
Definitely a evergreeen, and I bet I'll enjoy this in ten years from now as well :) - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 04:57:31
- demo Windows STS-02: Electric Kool-Aid by Synesthetics
- So, my stereo in the car has a CD slot and a USB thing - I rarely change the CD - and on it are some demotunes, like One Note Cripple, some wayfinder tune and this one. And whenever I forget the USB stick, I pick one of the tunes on that CD. This tune, on a high volume, had the biggest impact on the people waiting for the tram while I waited for the red light turning green ten meters away. The electrical shortcuts made them look up, instead looking to my car - which I found amusing :)
Anyhow, the tune is fucking ace - and that you went the whole demo with that 2D overlay is brave and awesome.
Still one of my evergreen demos, and one I'll go to when I want to learn about melting music with visuals - as the sync is just nuts <3 - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 04:50:37

- It's a pool.
It's a pool filled with water.
It's a pool filled with water and caustics.
It's a pool filled with water and caustics, and a OMGWTFBBQ IS THAT 0x00FF00 FOR GREEN GRAS?! - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 04:40:32
- 4k Windows Heaven 777 by Razor 1911 [web]
- From the flight back from Hungary I was thinking about this prod, as the view from the plane looked kinda similar. So, thumb up for sticking in my memory :)

- demo invitation Windows MacOSX Intel X by fresh!mindworkz [web]
- Oha, a demo that didn't lose any time - and just pushed me into the cold water. Really love the momentum of it from the beginning, how the tune almost gives one no time to breath - nice nice nice.
It felt a bit like watching an Outracks demo, without Irvin though, so design wise it's fantastic, if only the blor and sharpen filter wouldn't look like as if it work on a JPEG.
Nonetheless, damn enjoyable <3 - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 04:31:03
- invitation Windows Masagin - Nvision 08 Invitation by Farbrausch [web] & Neuro
- First things first, palette is outstanding!
This prod had me inspired on so many levels, from the way the logos in the beginning are being "deleted" to the flags which I almost implemented in a open source game as language selector to the zoomy bit which still feels so fucking amazing.
Also having the feeling that this was all hand drawn in SVG, and maybe some Python magic has been applied makes be giddy with excitement (even as a Perl dude).
I can't describe how good this prod is, other than the loader promised - have a pleasant journey it said, and wow - it was indeed <3 - rulezadded on the 2013-10-13 04:24:56
