- Wat, poi doesn't know about the NEXTEMPIRE saga and why KOZMIK is "special"? The WTFs keep on coming. ;)

- demo Windows Java MacOSX Intel The Nonstop Alaska Experience by Limp Ninja [web]
- The air traffic control concept is cool, but half way through it all turns into a leftover effects slide show (including ghastly video footage); A mixed bag.

- What a strange turn of events. If this was indeed made by the same guy, who did Rush Hour and the code was not completely stolen, then mad props and all that. NEXTEMPIRE's back. ;)

- demo Windows Srdce by Satori [web]
- Very ASD-ish in more ways than one (music, transitions, 3d people), but quite nice overall. Too short perhaps.

- demo MS-Dos Luminati by Tran
- The demo is using alternating render surfaces and only runs flicker-free when the monitor refresh rate is rather high (70Hz+ is likely); That way the demo saves plenty of clock cycles on per-pixel color mixing and still achieves that multi-layered look. That's also why you can't get a proper screenshot and why DOSBox can only encode a couple of frames per minute, so that recording a video this way is only for very patient people. :)
I guess, the real way of watching this would be on a DOS machine or via video output on a 4:3 CRT that still supports high refresh rates. But I hear it's hard to get >> 60Hz video reliably out of DOSBox.
(Also, a nice demo, really. :P) - rulezadded on the 2014-05-25 15:28:02
- 1k game MS-Dos jailbreak
- Interesting idea to try and make a text adventure in 1k. But that's about it. You can only press 1/2, and after 2 minutes max, you've randomly guessed your way to the (good) ending. No challenge/story/logic/excitement at all. :|

- demotool Linux MS-Dos Windows Adlib Tracker II by Altair
- Top-notch OPL3/FM tracker, that is still being updated.
The Windows/SDL version seems to freeze a lot, though. Comes with a fantastic collection of tunes. :) - rulezadded on the 2014-05-22 15:12:06
