- Great music with an intro to die for. This is totally, TOTALLY awesome.
We need more designs of this precision. - rulezadded on the 2014-12-07 20:40:37
- demo ZX Spectrum Laya by 3SC [web]
- Amazing overall approach; I really like how soundtrack is an integral part of it. However, the actual quality of graphics is diabolical. It is complete and total mess. If the graphics were clearer, I suspect that this demo may turn out to be slightly less abstract than it appears.

- demo ZX Spectrum Pain Gain by Five Finger Punch
- I actually kind of like the music, but the demo itself... I mean, code-wise this is a huge improvement on your previous demo. However, "Western Propaganda" came with the message, which was delivered with panache and conviction. What "Pain Gain" is trying to say (or do) is absolutely unclear to me. Sorry, I just cannot connect.

- demo Linux Windows Die Ewigkeit Schmerzt by Neuro
- This is not the coolest kinetic typography ever (it is a little too monotonous for that). However, this is definitely cool. I could not connect to the lyrics, but the build up at the end is nice, even though the choice of icons is slightly hit and miss.

- 32b procedural graphics MS-Dos Fire Coral by Desire [web]
- So cool I am actually tempted to try and make it in 8-bit :)

- demo ZX Spectrum cowina
- @Factor6, I am sorry if my comment appears very critical; I was simply trying to make sure that people do wait for later parts. Or at the very least fast-forward to them, once video becomes available :)

- demo ZX Spectrum cowina
- Well, the deal is as follows. It starts with some seriously shit parts, and I mean it. But then it gets better. How much better? Well, much, much better. The last three parts can easily qualify for some of the best BASIC demos on ZX Spectrum ever.
So, watching on youtube is probably recommended to avoid testing your patience. Where is skipping by pressing the space button, when you need it the most :) - rulezadded on the 2014-11-30 23:27:46

- demo ZX Spectrum Wonderball (aka Happy Birthday Diver) by Introspec & Triebkraft
- @__sam__: A mixture of the two. A low-pass filtered global volume is used for less important variations (e.g. the radius of the ball is based on it). More critical, "structural" variations (effect and palette switches, animated "beats") are kicked off by the hand-written script.

- demo ZX Spectrum Wonderball (aka Happy Birthday Diver) by Introspec & Triebkraft
- @evilpaul, yes, it is always a problem to capture something like this properly. I just uploaded 50Hz video onto the Youtube; it should give a fairer representation of the resulting visuals (watch it in Chrome as HD video). Sadly, when not in HD, Youtube simply drops every other frame, which is just a disaster...
It goes without saying that this demo is a lot less flickery on a 50Hz monitor, but somehow, I kind of like the kind of flicker you get on the 60Hz monitor too. Gives it a kind of a quicksilver sheen. - isokadded on the 2014-11-27 00:20:40
